2.0 star ratingThe position and above ground building was very impressive BUT then you go to your room that overlooks a railway station and even though double glazing is fitted it was still noisy which meant that we could not have the window open and to make things worse the air conditioning did not work very wellThe hotel staff, with the exception of the cafeteria waiter were most unhelpful and aloof and would not do as requested when it came to paying in euros not pounds.We would certainly not visit this hotel again and would try to put off anyone we know .Robert Goodwin (real name)01 July 2010
4.0 star ratingThe hotel is in an ideal location if you are travelling on the Bilbao to Portsmouth ferry as it only a couple of kilometres away. It is comfortable, clean and excellent value for money. There are parking facilties below but at an extra charge. The hotel overlooks the harbour where there is a pleasant promenade to walk along.No negative comment about the hotel. However, although we didn't eat in the hotel, it would be a good choice as restaurants in the vicinity are very few. A kilometre walk in both directions provided one restaurant which was very poor and not cheap.25 September 2011
