The hotel is beautifully surrounded by lush greenery, bordering the eternal blue of the sea. The city of Marmaris with its excellent shopping opportunities is 20 km away; there is also a ferry boat service all day long between Marmaris and Turunç village. The hotel consists of 5 separate blocks, perfectly integrated in the environment. The rooms are bright and have a classic design. Guests will appreciate the two outdoor pools, one of them with several water slides, as well as various sports facilities. The well-equipped fitness centre enjoys views over the beach and the cove. Guests can indulge in total relaxation in the fantastic spa area with sauna, Turkish bath and massage treatments. A perfect retreat for a tranquil and relaxing holiday.

4.5 star ratingThis was our second visit to the village of Turunc but our first visit to this hotel. The Hotel Turunc did not disappoint us, on the contrary we remain delighted with our choice. Though we had only booked a standard room it was spacious; very clean, with both strongbox and air conditioning at no extra charge, a refrigerator (complete with several bottles of water replenished every day), adequate storage and fresh towels every day. There was also a flat screen TV but we didn't turn it on so cannot comment on the available programmes. Ours was a side view room in the east building we faced the spar, no sea view but this suited us as it was very quiet. We enjoyed the wide selection of food and always found too many things we liked so sometimes were a little uncomfortable going to bed. The wine and beer were fine, I didn't bother with the spirits so cannot comment. The staff, without exception they are terrific, they all work long hours and considering this is almost the end of season; went about their duties with great zeal and good humour. They were the perfect hosts; nothing too much trouble. Though the hotel cannot claim credit for the weather they certainly can claim credit for providing the facilities to enjoy it; with both quiet and family pools plus a very shallow paddling pool, not to mention the lovely bay with a huge area cordoned of for swimmers, everyone could enjoy safe bathing. I think you can guess that I am happy to recommend it...I have no negative comments for this hotel.tfer29 October 2012
