Lots of noise from people leaving disco late at night. hire car scratched while parked outside hotel. receptionist couldn't find our booking when we arrived and was unhelpful about parking at the hotel.06 October 2008

3.5 star ratingGood budget hotel, room was very spacious, very clean, with good facilities, effective air-conditioning(hot or cold). Some staff were very positive and helpful.Quite a few staff had a personality rating of ZERO although the others made up for them. The full board menu left a lot to be desired.10 January 2009

1.5 star ratingVery poor accommodation that is listed as 3 star. I have never stayed in an hotel that expects guests to clear their table also mixing full paying guests with contract workers wasnt ideal. What was supposed to be a relaxing break before purchasing a property and subsequent move was a very dissapointing experience. The food at the buffet was very poor and luke warm18 March 2009

4.5 star rating2nd visit to torre joven, very good value for money, used as a base to view property in area, excellent helpful staff , one in particular who couldnt speak english , was always willing to help and was always smiling, next to busy roundabout on n332 , but this does put you in a central location.08 April 2009
2.0 star ratingthe reception staff were polite and spoke good englishthe pool was dirty and not maintained and you could not swim in it! the room windows were dirty and the bathroom smelled throughout are stay. no english channels on the television. the safe did not work and the bedding was not changed even once and the cover to the bed was not clean. we did not even have a balcony. we only had breakfast once because it was so bad/not cooked properly and the coffee was disgusting so we went to macdonalds for are breakfast. the waiter sneezing over the cheeses as he was bringing it out and placing it down and the waiter was unfriendly and not washing his hands after sneezing all over the food or replacing the food. 19 May 2009

4.5 star ratingGreat value for money.Central to most of the facilities.Staff friendly and efficient.Rooms clean and well maintained.We found the food,although well prepared and of ample variety,was not hot.It seemed as though it was brought out hot and then left to go cold.This meant t hat if you were not at the dining room door when it opened the hot buffet was never hot.This is meant as constructive criticism not a complaint.30 June 2009
4.0 star ratingreception proffessional restaurant food of fairly poor quality more often than not the food was undercookedresaurant clean but food of poor quality very often food undercooked and almost always food that should be hot was cold restaurant staff need to be trained in how to smile and give the impression that the job they are doing they enjoy!!! they give the clientel the impression that they are doing you a favour--this has been the attitude inthis hotel for many years--a shame really, this is a very well positioned hotel!!16 October 2009
