4.5 star ratingsehr angenehmer Aufenthalt, man muss nur wissen, dass das Hotel am Wochenende sehr stark von Familien mit Kindern genutzt wird. Für Golfer sehr vorteilhaft, ein wirklich guter 9 Löcher Platz am Hotel. Ausgesprochen freundliches PersonalAb und zu kleine technische Probléme im Zimmer, aber diese werden umgehend behoben.jozijo03 June 2012
2.5 star ratingWe were given a room that has had problems. The room 504 is not suitable for family with kids to stay in. It is very dusty and it seemed it has been left abandoned for awhile. Some noise disturbed us the whole night and we didn't have a good night sleep at ALL! The Indian Manager should be more responsible in ensuring each of the hotel guest to get a good room. Thistle hotel has always been our choices for a break-away but it is just too bad that they had made a mistake scary15 November 2012
1.0 star ratingUtter rubbish on the part of the hotel management! I was informed of no room only on my arrival at the hotel. I had called them twice about the room availability and they confirmed that there is room for me on both occasions. Worse still, the sad sounding operator called me ma'am over the phone. If that isn't rude I don't know what is! My advise to all potential guess out there, steer clear of this dodgy hotel. All you will receive is poor quality service that is managed by a bunch of retards!Azman04 December 2012

3.5 star ratingNice beachfront property with spacious, well-maintained grounds.I sent a lengthy email via Thistle's website explaining that I MUST have connecting rooms as our kids are very young. Received a reply to say that connecting rooms are subject to availability. On the day we checked in, I was told by the staff serving us that they did not receive my request and anyway, there are no connecting rooms for the room type we booked. We husband and I spent the family vacation sleeping in separate rooms - each of us with one child in each room. I think this was handled very poorly. Thistle should I replied me to inform me that connecting rooms do not exist for the room type I was booking. Poor service.Winnie04 January 2013
2.5 star rating1. Wide and well maintained ground. 2. Nice beach 3. Kids swimming pool quite fun with slides and fountain 4. Ground staff are helpful and polite. Customer service operator and maintenance staff response quickly to complaints/demands1. No proper que system at check in counter. Waited for quite sometime. to make it worse the lobby has no fans so it was very hot and uncomfortable. and most of the reception staff are unfriendly. 2. No proper changing room in pool area 3. Inside the elevator was very dusty. Even my room was very dusty and toilet water bidet leaking. I wonder if they purposely gave me unkept room just because i did not made my booking with them.. 4. Had lunch on second day at Glass the italian restaurant. Pizza ordered was really below standard expected and did not came out as described in the menu. Complaint to chef few times only then he finally changed it. however still disappointed with his unprofessional attitude Nik20 February 2013

4.0 star ratingExcept the lounge receptionist (in fact, I was being served by a Eurasian lady ) , I found out that the local workers are very much friendlier ! From the bell boy to the staff at the pool side , these workers are so dedicated ! Bravo to the locals ! Staff Sara at the lobby (concierge area) was exceptionally helpful and friendly ! 3.5 star ratingArchitektur und Anlage des Pools sind gut durchdacht. Die Küche ist auf internationale Gäste eingestellt. Für Jeden ist etwas dabei, das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam. Die Sauberkeit in den Zimmern ist nicht gut. Der Strandbereich ist sehr vermuellt Erst nach zweimaliger Beschwerde wurde aufgeräumt,das aber auch nicht richtig.01 January 2014

The room is not that great. the bathroom shower is controlled by two separate tapswhich makes it very inconvenient as you always have to adjust teo different taps to get the desired temperarture of the water. Also the long bath is dangerous for older people as its difficult to climb in and out to take a bath. Hope these can be amended to a shower tray with just one mixer tap to control water temperature.Anonymous 15 May 2014

4.5 star ratingGreat stay and great hotel - clean, good service, friendly staff, beach and pool in great condition, good food.My number one complaint would be the lack (or rather removal) of electric buggies on the golf course - Have stayed at Thistle in the past, and was looking forward to a round of golf with partner, only to find that there were no more eclectic buggies available for rent! This was a big disappointment as I was really looking forward to playing the beautiful course. I'd strongly recommend to bring back the electric buggies - will make the course a lot more accessible. Also, cocktails at Cumulus were weak in the sense that there appeared to be hardly any alcohol in the drinks; for the price paid, this was a disappointment.Daniel01 May 2017
