4.0 star ratingRoom was clean and comfortable and check-in staff were helpful and friendlyThere was a disco, which we were not told about when we booked, which contyinued until 01.20 hours. Obvously we could not get to sleep because of this and, frankly, this ruined our stay.18 March 2010
4.5 star ratingConvenient for airport. No problems in finding parking space. Pleasant & helpful staff. Imaculately clean linen Despite be late for cooked breakfast due to being given wrong info by member of staff previous night, kitchen & restuarnt were kind enough to organise us a hot breakfastRoom & en-suite need a little upgrading eg cracked/broken tiles Traffic noise could be a liitle loud due to lack of double glazing DonDav19 April 2010
4.5 star ratingalthough big weddings and near busy road we were not disturbed by any noise at all, staff were all very friendly. No easy to plug kettle in. room servicing was a bit hit and miss, i.e beakers for bathroom were missing, towel when replaced one was missing plus one day they left room door unlocked.Metow & Patow 21 July 2010
4.5 star ratingVery clean room, 378, friendly staff.I did look out on the black rubbish bags and a broken bed and the laundry trolley, which was the only negative observation.24 September 2010
1.5 star ratingThis has to be the worst hotel I have EVER stayed in! The receptionist at check-in was rude. I had prepaid for the room through this website however the receptionist insisted this was not the case and would not allow me to go to my room without paying for it AGAIN AND paying an EXTRA £25 deposit in case I decided to use room service!!!!! The room was dirty. There was pubic hair in the shower and the bathroom was dirty in general, bed sheets were stained and the windows were filthy. The room description states there is a telephone, hairdryer and bath in the room, THERE IS NOT!!! What was in the room was broke- the toilet seat was loose, the tolilet roll holder was about to fall off the wall- the paper would fall off and go straight to the dirty floor, the shower was tiny and leaked EVERYWHERE in the tiny bathroom and the shower would do temped warm at best!!! I had been travelling all day and I had to be somewhere shortly after check-in or I would have refused the room. It was absolutly horrible!!!! (at check out I was able to prove I had already paid and my card was refunded. I was given a bogus excuse but not so much as an apology. I will never stay with the Swallow hotel chain again! 4.0 star ratingBreakfast was excellent. Staff in the dining room excellentRoom cold, warmed up when radiator manually adjusted but took an age. Old tv,kept going from colour to black and White. Couldn't pay with debit card at the bar big fuss to have amount verified at reception. If I had been informed I would have done this at check in.09 November 2010
