4.5 star ratingOverall my stay was an enjoyable experience. Free use of health facility's swimming pool , steam room ect were first class. The menu for dinner did not change on the nights which we stayed. Asked for cheese board and waitress thought I was taking the micky out of her. When I requested she ask the chef the answer brought back was no he did not do one. Therefore on 2nd night we went out for diner. Metz 116 June 2013
3.0 star ratingStaff were very efficient and helpful, food was ok. Leisure centre looked great but didn't get the opportunity to try it out.Rooms in serious need of modernisation, and redecorating quite old an shabby looking. The car park was a joke after being told to come back in an hour for the third time gave up and parked on the street. 29 October 2013

overall a bit dated but clean and the room was rather big. Pool and sauna area nice and for free.games room had no toys for smaller kids and half of what was there was broken, also freezing cold in there. If you had told your kids beforehadn there would be a toys room as advertised there would be dissapointment for sure. Pool / Sauna did not open for 8 am as we were told but for 9 am, so walked down with my son only to have tpo tell him we cannot go in yet....Anonymous 06 May 2015
2.5 star ratingThe staff at the reception were well mannered and professional. I had no stoppers in the sink or bath to have a shave or a wash. The bath mat was still wet from whoever had used it previously. The breakfast was not very good. Barely able to fit a double bed inside. and the bathroom is very squashed together did not enjoy my stay at all, Anonymous 16 July 2015
4.5 star ratingThe bar staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was old fashioned but spotless, warm and comfortable. Lovely beds and a very enjoyable stay.I found that the receptionist could have been more friendly and helpful, the rest of the staff were lovely. This is not really a negative as the hotel is currently under renovation... but it definitely needs it! Some parts of the hotel feels like you have stepped back in time!Anonymous 15 September 2015
1.0 star ratingHotel decore was very poor Rooms were very dated .. Bathroom was filthy. Reception staff were very rude and unhelpful. I Left some items in the hotel and never got them back.Anonymous 06 December 2015
4.5 star ratingRooms very comfortable, nice big bathroom. Central position on Main Street, easy walking distance to beach, railway station. Staff on reception excellent.Only problem, they have regular coach parties in, so the restaurant is not available to sole travellers like me. Food is available in the bar area, but it is noisy as the TVs has football on nonstop! I had two guests when we ate in the bar, and one of the meals was dire (chicken pie). We complained, and were invited to choose another course. Chef was not as bothered as he should have been! But there are other good restaurants in the town, so no great loss.Fun Gran 24 April 2016
