All the accommodations have en-suite bathrooms with "raindance" showers and feature complimentary and unlimited Wi-Fi access, air-conditioning and satellite TV. All the garden units have separate work and relaxation zones and either a private patio or balcony overlooking the gardens. The on-site bistro restaurant with champagne bar serves delicious food and the complex has a boardroom and informal meeting areas for up to 20 delegates, as well as events space. The hotel has a pool with hammocks and lazy loungers. Melrose is near Johannesburg and tours to Soweto, including Nelson Mandela's original home, and the Apartheid Museum can be arranged from the reception area. Johannesburg's excellent art galleries are also well worth a visit.
