This pleasant hotel is located in the small town of Santa Cruz, on the south coast of Madeira. The beautiful local pebble beach as well as the wonderful palm-lined promenade with restaurants and bars is just 300 m away. There is a water park around 1.5 km from the hotel and is some 16 km to the island capital of Funchal. Links to the public transport network are to be found directly in front of the hotel and it is around 5 minutes drive to Funchal-Madeira airport.The fabulous hotel comprises a total of 40 rooms spread over 2 buildings. This hotel has been built in a typical Madeiran style on the exact site of an ancient sugar cane mill and some of the original features have been preserved to this very day. Facilities include a foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, a safe, a currency exchange desk, complimentary Internet access and a lift in addition to a billiards room, a library, a cosy bar and conference facilities. Madeiran and international dishes may be taken à la carte in the restaurant and fees apply for use of the room and laundry services. There is a garage available to those arriving by car.
