The place is well equipped for events and has on-site meeting and banqueting facilities. All rooms are smoke-free and pets are allowed on request. Free parking is possible and complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout. All the units in this 46-room property are unique, decorated in warm colours and equipped with en-suite bath & shower, and some have views over the countryside or the local valley.

4.5 star ratingA warm refuge for a couple of nights against the winter cold. I spent the days in the beautiful surroundings on the commons and hills around and the the evenings in the hotel with the warm welcome of the staff who were friendly and helpful at all times. The meals were good with imaginative food combinations, the room was cosy in the right way: not cramped, but with a warm and homely feel, somewhere that you knew you could relax as soon as you saw it. As the receptionist took me to my room, she told me a potted history of the inn which was charming and fascinating. In all I had a lovely retreat.Antidigger15 February 2017
