4.5 star ratingWe booked mountain view rooms, but as it was wet and cloudy we upgraded on arrival to a pool premium room with a direct view of Lion's Head, and we could also watch the big rollers breaking on the beach. I liked this split level room with 3 steps from the bedroom down to a lounge area and balcony. It's our kind of trendy with a Nespresso machine and Smeg kettle for hot drinks, a large candle in the bathroom for romance, and a ceramic radiator for warmth. My husband was also in awe of the motorbike collection casually parked around the hotel. This is definitely the place to stay in Camps Bay, there's a choice of restaurants within easy walking distance, the beach is just across the road and the V&A Waterfront is 10 minutes drive along the coast road. We really liked this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to return or recommend it to our clients, friends & family.We were told that the free WiFi connection was limited to 250mb per day on check in and that we could pay to upgrade when required. However we enjoyed free WiFi through The Bay Hotel network without logging in or reaching a limit during our stay.JulesCJ22 June 2016
