The Ahwahnee Hotel Yosemite - CA

This National Historic Landmark was designed by Gilbert Stanley Underwood, the same architect who designed the lodges at other national parks of the west. Once a village of the native Miwoks, the site of the venue was chosen because of its exposure to the sun and stunning views of Yosemite's icons such as Half Dome, Yosemite Falls and Glacier Point. Dating back to 1927, the hotel is within walking distance from all the attractions that the park has to offer and guests can find plenty of opportunities for hiking, biking or fishing in the surrounding area.
