This hotel is housed within a historical building that dates back to the early 19th century that is located at the heart of Rome, between the basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, Santa Giovanni Lateranus and Santa Croce in Gerusalemme. The Coliseum and Forum Romanum are situated within walking distance of the hotel, as are underground, tram and bus links, as well as the Roma Termini main railway station, which simplify any city tour. It is 25 kms to the airport. The highly trained hotel staff is on hand to provide guests with tourist information such as maps, tours and other goings-on in the city that allow the beauty of Rome to be fully enjoyed. All rooms have been recently renovated. Selected rooms afford views out over the inner courtyard, whilst others overlook a terrace featuring lush plants and flowers and some look out onto the busy main street.

4.5 star ratingThe room was newly refurbished and was comfortable and clean. Whilst the hotel is obviously still undergoing renovation, this did not impact on our stay. The hotel has character and the staff are all friendly and courteous.Tea/coffee facilities were not available in the rooms. As there were no evening meal facilities and breakfast was very basic, these additions would have been welcomed - particularly as we were on a short weekend break with lots to cram in! As I have said, breakfast was very basic but sufficient.30 January 2009

2.5 star ratingHotel staff friendly, good location to termini and ColosseumPlaced an a extremely noisey room we had no sleep!! Moved rooms alot quieter. Breakfast poor two breadrolls with crackers, 2nd morning they ran out so only one breadroll for 6 euro. Also we were celebrating our engagement and had to share a breakfast table. Towels in bedroom were stained and two mornings had a cold shower!! Reception were contacted regarding water but they put phone down when we rang back they said they had a problem but no apology. No water, tea or coffee facilties in an evening or even in room so had to walk to find a drink after 11pm14 October 2009

The reception staff are very helpful with advice on the local area and places to visit.My room was in another building next to the main hotel, I had to ring a bell in the street to request reception to open the door.20 October 2010
5.0 star ratingEine echte Überraschung! schön eingerichtete Zimmer und Bad mit Fenster, sehr freundliches Personal. Man sieht dass es renoviert und modernisiert wurde. Die Stadtmitte ist bequem zu Fuß oder mit Metro zu erreichen. Wir werden es gerne weiter empfehlen.Keine.Adrian29 February 2012
