4.5 star ratingVery spacious!restaurant staff not really attentive...pooch07 March 2014
4.5 star ratingBeautiful gardens, friendly staff, superb accommodation with fireplace, wine tastingNeed to update and attend to board games and cards in kids club, not much of a selection, no playing cards, limited board games and the backgammon we borrowed had missing dice. Room doors need to possibly be shaved to be able to close without having to slam the door, makes it very noisy when everyone is having to slam their doors closed, room 517Anonymous 17 August 2016
4.5 star ratingThe food is good, but expensive.Hotel is undergoing renovations and there were disruptions, although not too bad.Anonymous 21 August 2016
5.0 star ratingThe hotel is located close to the main route 10 minutes to Stellinbosch and 35 minutes to Franshoek. The property is low rise on a large setting with plenty of space. A good property for a family holiday as there are plenty activities for children. The bedrooms are large and ground floor rooms open onto patio and green areas. There is one public pool area and each block of rooms has its own small pool area. The hotel runs a buffet for all meals and there are two other restaurants on site for table service. A suggestion would be to avail of a picnic where all supplies for the picnic can either be hired or purchased from the deli attached to one of the restaurants. No real negative comments except the public pool area can be busy however we never failed to get a sun bed which I might add were very comfortable. It might only be something unique to me but I found the bed a little hard and as I have a back issue found sleeping a little uncomfortable but apart from that every thing about the rooms were great.
