2.5 star ratingThe bus station was right next to the hotel. We arrived very late on a Friday night and a security guard was supposed to show us our rooms but was unable to find them. It took us about 20 min before he finally showed us our rooms. Cleanliness was not good. There were little hairs in the bathroom and long hairs on the bed. The fridge had food in it that had gone bad. The furniture needs updating, everything is very old. The carpet looks very dirty, the walls need painting and the bedding had holes in it. On the saturday morning the breakfast included ham, cheese and 4 different jams. On Sunday morning we only had cheese and 2 different jams as an option. That would have been okay, if the jam wasn't orange and lemon, which is not to everyone's taste. 31 August 2008
I am pleased that you sent me this questionnaire, because I was completely unsatisfied with the Hotel Sleeping Beauty. I never stayed a single night. The rooms were filthy and the bed sheets looked like something you would find in a homeless refuge. On arrival I complained to the receptionist, I told him I wasn't satisfied with the room, he informed me that the hotel was fully booked and there wasn't another room available, I continued with my complaint and eventually after phoning the manager he gave me another room (which was exactly the same) I asked him for a refund and he told me that would be impossible and to make my complaint with the company I booked the hotel on line. The hotel rooms looked nothing like the pictures, I booked the hotel for a romantic break with my Girlfriend, and was absolutely left feeling let down, not only by the online write-up and description of the hotel but by the I was treated by the hotel. I then drove into London and booked into another Hotel. I am writing to complain and ask for a refund. Look forward to your reply. Mr S Greygoose 27 October 2008
2.5 star ratingWindows opened on request as the rooms were far too warm. Most of the staff friendly and polite.Rooms too warm and in need of updating. Bar staff not trained or spoke english. Motel in a very undesirable area. Not an appropriate place for children to stay not just because of the area but also because of some of the guests!! 28 October 2008
