Scharnitz lies exactly between the Bavarian city of Mittenwald and the Tyrol city of Seefeld. The Holiday Club Scharnitz was the first resort to be opened back in 1983. Located near Mittenwald, Garmisch, Seefeld, Innsbruck, and the nearby surrounding skiing resorts, make this holiday club extremely attractive. The Karwendel mountain range offers endless mountain hiking tours as well.
