Conveniently located in the heart of Miami, this Mediterranean style hotel is close to historic Coral Gables, Coconut Grove and South Miami. The University of Miami, the shopping facilities at Sunset Place and the South Miami Metrorail Station, providing easy access to museums, theaters, attractions and the nightlife, are within walking distance. South Beach with its wonderful beaches and famous Art Deco District is within easy reach.

3.0 star rating	The hotel room was fine and, as an overnight stop prior to going on a cruise, met our requirements. Breakfast was OK if a little short on variety	The reason I chose this hotel was the complimentary shuttle from airport to hotel and from hotel to cruise ship. Wher we arrived at Miami, there was no sign of the shuttle,. We phoned the hotel 3 times and were put on hold with no reply We finally had to take a taxi costing $37 which was not reimbursed from us. That extra payment could have gone towarsds a better class hotel		04 February 2009
2.5 star rating	The hotel and the common areas (bar, pool) look nice. The location is very good, close to Sunset Place at walking distance	Reception staff was not friendly, amenities in room very basic and breakfast was very poor		30 October 2009
2.5 star rating	The locale for this hotel is fine, it's a safe area and good shopping malls with metrail transport close at hand.	No wifi in rooms and only available in pool and lobby is a deterrent, the rooms are quite jaded in appearance and it took all day to get the room cleaned and even then it was done poorly. There was no availability of coffee in lobby or in rooms. No restaurant or room service attached to the hotel. In all I was disappointed by the overall standard,	cannonsfire	12 April 2012
