As soon as you step on the island you will be immediately drawn to walk into this hotel that sets the scene for a spectacular stay. Riva landmarked building with its unique and edgy design signed by Jestico + Whiles reflects a boutique nouvelle vague indulgence. Its prime location in the middle of Hvar's pulsating heart attracts a star-studded clientele since back in the day when the hotel was firstly opened in 1927 and was one of the most desirable spots in the city frequented by the likes of Orson Welles, Jeanne Moreau and Sean Connery. Nowadays those are the premises of seekers for long lost Mediterranean flair and modern glamour as Kevin Spacey, Steven Spielberg and Tom Cruise. Breakfast is served at the ground floor patio, with outdoor tables on the waterfront terrace, looking onto the yachts that moor up quietly into the sunrise.

3.0 star ratingThe room was cleanHotel straff was very rude. The breakfast was not good, slim pickings and old food Rooms were really small and the bathroom was made of glass. You could lie in bed and watch the other showering Ordered a room with a sea view but our only view was straight into the neighbor building and there was extremely much noise from the fan/AC right beside our terrace.05 August 2013
