Located on its own stretch of Macquarie Harbour, Risby Cove is Strahan's only waterfront accommodation. The restaurant and each room are designed to take in the sunset views across the water. Then there's the little pier with its cray fishing boats and the Cove's own marina. There's also an art gallery in the refurbished original sawmill offering eclectic Tasmanian art and sculpture, a highly recommended restaurant with al fresco dining on the marina's edge, high sped wireless broadband available throughout and mountain bikes for exploring the many foreshore tracks.
