5.0 star ratingexcellent room facilities,,staff extremely efficient and helpful..the traffic noise, maybe if possible during any revamp of the hotel to situate all visitors looking for an early departure ie for ferries etc.. to locate all rooms away from the road,,, as having windows open ( a neccesity for some people ) means little sleep due to to traffic noise .31 May 2012

3.0 star ratingThe manager was helpful, we asked to be moved, as i requested not to be on the side of the A2 motorway, but they were full. Food was excellent.As above I requested a room, not on the A2. The net curtains were torn. The bathroom floor didn,t look like it had been cleaned, there was several hairs on the floor. Also the extractor fan in the bathroom didn,t work.22 March 2013

2.0 star ratingThe room was very clean and well appointed.We booked a family room, and ended up with two double beds, not exactly family oriented I think. The staff were unsympathetic when I spoke to them about the problem of having to have two opposite sex teenagers expected to share a bed. I asked for more bedding so one child could sleep in a makeshift bed, the staff seemed uninterested in helping saying they had no spare bedding at all! I asked where a local care hire place was the next morning, only to be told 'we don't have that type of information'. No sorrys, no let me find it for you, nothing. The radiator was jammed on in the amazingly hot position, in an already hot August. There was no air conditioning, just a rickety old inadequate, noisy fan. And the wi-fi was laughable, working only in fits and starts.Unhappy Guest!19 August 2013
