2.5 star ratingCheapWhen we first checked in we were given a room which had not been cleaned or made up. We were changed to another room whihc was spacious and clean. However someone else was given the key to our room and some people came into our room in the middle of the night, I found this very unsettling, and was unable to get adequate sleep that night due to stress and worry. Although cheap, because of the mess up with giving our room key to someone else, I would never stay here again, and not recommend.25 November 2008
1.5 star ratingTowels were changed daily. They changed our room when the heating was faulty quickly and without disruption. We were there 7 days the bedding was not changed once. The curtains did not reach the whole of the window. First room we went into did not have any heating, we were moved to a twin room instead of a double room. Car park was not gritted, therefore it took ages to retrieve my car out of the snow.07 February 2009
1.5 star ratingRude staff. The information that we read on-line about the hotel and its proximity to London were not true at all, and all of the extras, such as a hair dryer and free wifi, were not actually available. Seems like false advertisement to me. Overall, the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. 21 April 2009

4.5 star ratingThe overall quality of service and professionalism at this hotel was very pleasant. The staff was very helpful and friendly at all times. They really identified and catered to all our needs promptly. The room was spacious and neat with most day-to-day facilities and necessities provided. The breakfast room on the fifth floor was also very comfortable and well laid out in regards to breakfast buffet and tables to sit. It even had a big screen TV with news on which was quite good. The lobby was big and comfortable with two big screen TVs. I found it particularly good that they also offered free Wi-Fi in the lobby area. The car park towards the front and back of the hotel were very secure and spacious. The security staff at the hotel was very helpful and made us feel confident and secure in regards to our property. The first quadruple room we were shown that was booked for us was not suitable as it was 1) too far away with stairs to go up and down through a few long corridors towards the back of the hotel and 2) it was too small for four adults with two single beds and one bunk bed. However, when we went back to the receptionist and voiced our dissatisfaction over the room booked, she very promptly and kindly offered us an alternative. Once we had a look at the second option, which was a lot more spacious and closer than the first room, we took up the room happily and were extremely grateful and satisfied for the prompt and quick rectification.Salma05 August 2010
