4.0 star ratingIt is the most convenient hotel to stay to be near the South train station. I paid for a Double Standard room and received a Twin room. The Internet access is PAID. The neighbourhood near the train station is alwful at the evenening, you don't feel like in Vienna, but in Romania for example, there are gipsies peeing on the streets, drunk people screaming from the bars, there are so few people in the streets that you need to be well armed to walk around. Note that it was 9 PM. So better don't get out of the hotel after sunset. There was not enough variety of the food at the breakfast and it was most like a 2 or 3 star hotel breakfast and not the 4 stars that you are paying for.31 August 2009
Rhiannon20 March 2012
4.0 star ratingVery close to the centre and metro stops. Staff was nice. Rooms need updating. No tea coffee making facility and don't even provide electric kettle. Breakfast was okay not greatTraveller from London 11 April 2013

5.0 star ratingPrinz Eugen Hotel was a very good choice and my family agreed. We had a wonderful stay at Prinz Eugen and enjoyed Vienna and the highlights of the Kaffee Kultur. Across the road to the Hauptbahnhof (main station) but we used the Sud Tirol Platz station as it was most convenient as it is on the same side of the Weidner Gurtel as the hotel. kathleen gadaloff17 February 2015
