3.5 star ratingCheap, convenient location - at end of Fremont Street, but not too noisy, efficient staff. No problems with room - cleaned each day. Lifts seemed OK, although could take a while at busy times. Lots of places to eat/drink in complex. Close to Main Street Station which has its own brewery and good cheap buffet for breakfast, lunch, dinner.Resort Fee. This has to be one of the great rip offs in Las Vegas (almost all hotels have them). It includes the use of wifi, telephone, resort discount book, gym and pool (things that should be included in room price). This was a particularly mute point for us as although I was aware of it before we went, I specifically booked the hotel because it was rated fairly good and had a pool area that was open year round. However, when we arrived, the pool area was closed as they were knocking it down to create a new pool/pool area. The resort fee should therefore have been reduced to reflect this. There was nothing on their website (and nothing from Hotelopia) to warn about this and we were woken at 7am each morning by jack hammers. Just be aware that there will not be a pool to use for a while. Wasn't that taken on Has House a Go Go - quite expensive and didn't find it to our tastes.Cabbages18 March 2016
