The resort is strategically situated, just around a 20-minute drive from the city of Kuala Lumpur. It is around a 35-minute drive to Kuala Lumpur International Airport at Sepang. This establishment is a resort hotel with Asian-style architectural elements, rich wooden beams and panels carved with Malaysian motifs. The resort offers guests beautiful scenery and a sandy-bottomed swimming lagoon set amidst verdant greenery. The air-conditioned hotel comprises a total of 178 well-appointed guest rooms, including 47 rooms in picturesque chalets featuring panoramic views of the lake. 4.0 star ratingStaff have excellent manners. Very good scenery and decor, though it's quite oldThe toilet door chipping at the bottom. The sink gets choked as the lever unable to push up the sink stopper. We had booked a taxi upon departure at 1.30pm at $30 to berjaya times square. A staff called us at 1pm to go down immediately saying its better we take this taxi which charges by meter. But in the end the taxi fare was $47 as it was six seater ,and it goes on highway all the from the mines to berjaya times square. We felt cheated.Christy03 June 2013

3.5 star ratingStaff service is good. Polite and helpful. Location is opposite Mines Convention Centre and near Mines Shoppimg Complex. Peaceful and healthy environment. Wifi availability is a plus point. Value for money.Do not provide toiletries for 2 persons even though room is for 2 persons. No face towels and bedroom slippers. TV is old fashioned. Only local channels. Suggest astro be made available.Margaret10 September 2013

1.5 star ratingA run down hotel with a high price paid! Many items are not working well; air con, sink, no hot water shower. I wanted to change the hotel next day. However, HOTELOPIA has no reply despite I called and sent several emails. As such the hotel commented that I still need to make full payment even if I stay only 1 night which originally I booked for 5 nights! This is CRAZY!.. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK WITH HOTELOPIA, THEY DO NOT REPLY YOUR EMAIL AND CHANGES ARE NOT ALLOWED TO MAKE!Olie Dolie24 September 2015
