4.5 star ratingNana and her family could not have been more welcoming and helpful - this really is a very special, understated family-run hotel where nothing is too much trouble. The airconditioned room was well equipped (hairdryer, TV, phone etc) and clean and a good size with a wonderful view over the bay from our balcony. There is a lovely clear pool that stays open until 8pm and plenty of comfortable sunloungers under shade if you want it. The hotel's location is really great - down a steep hill but right on a sheltered bay with a small sandy beach which was never too crowded during our July visit. You do need a car unless you're happy to stay put, but this is a great location just 15 minutes from the airport and close to all the beaches in the south, do you'd probably want to explore from here. The restaurant and bar stay open until late and the homecooked food is excellent and well-priced. Teens may get a little restless as there is no real night-life, but perfect for couples and young families. Thank you Nana - definitely worth another visit in the future!Sandi Poles16 July 2014
