2.5 star ratingThe first room we were given had not been cleaned. Given another room which had a faulty window. The glass was broken with sharp pieces sticking out and rattled all through the night. Not a very good experience.08 September 2008
3.5 star ratingTired looking hotel with adequate room facilities. I had a double room which had received a facelift recently and was nice enough. However, if two people had stayed for any more than a night or two, then the room was really cramped - Little space even to store suitcases. There a Friday and Saturday night and only found that the hotel functions were a big thing - Tribute bands, parties etc. Room was far enough awa y no tto be disturbed, but foyer/bar area was a bit tigjht. The real big complant was the restaurant - menu limited, food overpriced for what it was, overlarge portions and terrible quality. If you liked lots of butter, then your in heaven, but even Little Chef would beat this in terms of taste and quality. I travel a lot with work and eat in lots of hotels - this was appauling to say the least. To end on a positive note, the staff were very good - both restaurant staff and front of house. Good mannered, helpful and focussed on the customer - tell the chef he needs to learn from them!23 September 2008
2.0 star ratingSecond room was decent sized, food was reasonably priced, most staff were friendly, complimentary transport to airportThe first room we booked into was very small, had no wall sockets, the room reservation note stated that we were only booked in for one night when it should have been two; in the morning i checked with (very friendly and helpful) receptionist that it was in fact two nights, she assured me we were booked in for both nights it was just that the reservation slip was wrong. Returned to the hotel after a day out to be told we were only booked in for one night, were checked out of the room, the room was locked, the key was frozen and we could not collect our things, the girl who was working on the reception desk at this time had a very bad attitude and did not seem interested at all, she even answered the phone, served another customer and yawned several times while i was trying to explain to her that we were told the booking was definitely for both nights.18 February 2009

3.0 star ratingHad to get ready for a night out with only a side mirror light in the room working, this was reported to reception, but on leaving the next morning, still waiting for it to be fixed. went to the tribute night at the hotel, There where 18 of us there, nobody will return. !!!!!!!!!!!17 April 2012
1.0 star ratingAt least they had a clean toilet seat Waited over 30 minutes in the cold reception to get checked in as staff couldn't find my reservation . Staff took my my phone and checked email and passed to other staff to double check my phone without consent . No room ac and no clean sheets or towels felt as if no cleanliness . No apologies from staff so I left at 9pm ! Worst ever 55 quid spent ! Rather stay in a local hostel . Ruined my partners birthday night Bobby 31 March 2015
