4.5 star ratingI lived in the spa suite. It was excellent. The beach is just next to the suite. My girlfriend and I enjoy breakfast with perfect ocean view. Food are just above average. Good place to relax and rest.Too far from the city.Simonlam24 May 2012
4.0 star ratingClose to the beach. Wide room size.It was fine to be far from the airport or downtown, which I had already known. However, distance from my room and the main building was very long, and no transportaion was provided. Small kids might feel tired to go just for eating and swimming. Food was OK but not as good as Tanjung Aru or Sutra Harbour Resort to my taste.Heysujin08 January 2013

1.0 star ratingNice environment and large resortThe room had strong bad smell and not very clean, even so after we changed to another room. The spa and steam heater didn't work. The buffet breakfast was aweful and very limited variety. The villa and spa suite area was very far away from the main resort and felt like ignored and isolated from the hotel. Experienced twice that the water supply stopped while I was in the middle of a shower. Complaint twice and then was told that the hotel would stop the water supple and the fix the water pump every night. Was furious. The hotel should have notified the guests in advance during check-in.18 December 2013

check in 時book 已不能。所以這服務不好。Joey fq20 July 2014
3.0 star ratingwe stayed in the spa area so will need to move to main hall for all facilities and services, even breakfast. however the 24hrs shuttle service is always ready. But you need to wait slightly longer if past midnight.Having a kitchen with stove but cannot be used. Toilet flush is spoilt, since we only stay a night we just make use of the other toilet. No utensils and need to call for it. Basically the kitchen is useless.dk28 December 2014
1.5 star ratingNot recommended. This hotel was obviously a very good facility in it's day, but is now in a state of disrepair following years of underinvestment and poor maintenance. We only stayed a night thankfully (last minute $100 per night deal) and some of our observations were that the grounds were not maintained (apart from a couple of key areas deemed important enough to water - everywhere else looked dead or the jungle about to take over), the cleanliness was poor (dead crabs in the pool, cockroaches roaming the bathrooms) and the food was very average (especially breakfast). Our room was actually ok relative to the rest of the hotel apart from a malfunctioning shower head. I would guess occupancy whilst there would have been around 5-10% as the place felt deserted - this place must be losing money. All in all is was rather sad to see such a large piece of infrastructure in the state it's in. The can understand the cost appeal, but I would recommend staying in KK where for less you can stay at respectable hotels like Hotel Grandis or Hotel Sixty3 and use the money saved on taxi's or island hopping. Nexus resort will just leave you feeling stranded a long way from anywhere and cheated out of the money you've spent to stay there.Anonymous 19 April 2015
3.0 star ratingHotel staff wasn't all that friendly (some was). Misplaced my room key and they wanted to charge me $15 to replace it. I was shocked when he told me that. There was a JCI Malaysia event at the resort and make a mess of some area with all their banner and taping of poster all over. Hosluse keeper keeps on forgetting to replace my used towels. But they did replace a burnt out light bulb quickly... go figure. pandaman21 October 2015
