Hotel Information

This hotel is located right by the fine, golden sand beach and the azure blue sea, in a lively area close to a number of hotels, restaurants, cafés, boutiques, bars, nightclubs and bowling alleys. It is 15 kms from the town of Nabeul and 3 kms from the Yasmine Hammamet Marina. It is around 60 kms from the Tunis Carthage International Airport, 80 kms from Monastir International Airport, 6 kms from the train station and 7 kms from the centre of Hammamet. Public transport within easy reach includes: buses, taxis and the tourist train. The hotel was built in 1983 and was adapted to the needs of today's guests during its renovation in 2001. It is distinguished by its authentic Arabian-Moorish architecture, combining modernity with tradition, with the maisonettes featuring an inner courtyard, surrounded by a rich variation of palms and gardens.

3.0 star ratingThe Majority of the staff are excellent but the problem is they work in fear of what looks like the secret police but are in fact supposedly managers in plain clothes. 3 members of staff were bundled off during the week we visited and one of these was for supposedly giving away a free glass of coke, which he didn't. Drinks appeared to have little or no alcohol in them and items supposedly included in the full board package were excluded according to the hotel staff like Brandy? A beautiful place but needs the management revamped as bundling staff of in front of guests is unacceptable or questioning guests like criminals. Workers in the hotel should be treated with respect so they don't need to beg guests for tips. Another issue is the constant barrage trying to get you to take up excursions from the hotel. This should be stopped immediately as guests are there to relax not to constantly have money extorted from them. I am informed the excursions are not worth the money so avoid anyway. Lastly be careful on the beach as there are cons with a camel supposedly free only to then try to obtain around £20 for the short trip on the camel. Another one is people selling bananas and trying to charge around £5 for 5 bananas. My advise is to avoid completely. TAJ03 June 2012

They make you pay more, and when you ask at the reception every employee gives you different price for the room than his colleague!! You would ask me, yea, but how they ask you to pay again after you already paid by Hotelopia.com?? they were mean more than you can imagine and they could cancel all kinds of online booking after we already stayed there. They didn't accept my printed out voucher from hotelopia because it was much cheaper than the real price if you paid there directly. It didn't happened only for us, but for everybody in our group. We were more than 50 persons and all of us had the same problem. And when we threatened them that we are gonna complain to their manager, they were mocking us and all of them pretended that every individual has the first name (Samy). We didn't believe them so we said we are gonna take pictures of them to support our complaint, and I dare to say that once they heard that they ran like mice everywhere and left the reception empty ! Other people used other websites for their online booking, but the staff member of Nesrine hotel did the same. I wouldn't recommend anybody to go there.07 November 2012

3.0 star ratingNice location. And in the summer it will be wonderful. Good cleaning!The staff is very unprofessional. Always angry. Exept the people in the reception who were very nice. It feels like they are tired all the time. and when you ask for help they just sight and very slowly help you. I have been here before in the summer and everything was better then.Jen21 March 2013

 Hei very bad service hotelopia .i made reservation for 2 days in this hotel for my 3 brother they went to hotel and they tok the confirmation thats u send me on mail and the recption said that you didnt get any information from you ,it was in the night late and i call you but you was close at 20:00, so they find another place to sleep , very bad service from not seriously companyAnonym 13 May 2014
