4.0 star ratingAfter reading some reviews we were somewhat apprehensive about our booking, our main concerns were with the ongoing re-decoration that most people had been complaining about. Well, our stay there turned out to be worry free and very quiet! No sign of a hammer or drill, in fact you could have heard a pin drop - very peaceful. The rooms themselves have been decorated/updated (much needed) to a high standard and after our last two visits to this hotel we were very impressed with what they've done.Only three slight niggles. 1, A few of the hangers kept falling off the rail once they had items on them. 2, Gets very hot in the room, more so at about 2/3 a.m 3, When opening the bathroom door it kept rubbing against the wood on the floor, made a heck of a racket!12 August 2008
