4.5 star ratingVery kind, hardworking staff.More variety is needed in the buffet restaurants. Example:Theme Nights ( Chinese, Mexican, etc). It was the same food everyday at lunch and dinner. At breakfast, I only seen bacon on one day! The Royal Section should be adults only and the room service should be 24 hours. If these two things had been in place, I would have upgraded to this section of the resort. Previously I have stayed at Bahia Principe Ambar and Royal Suites Turquesa by Palladium, so I am used to these perks. These things were not present at Melia. There needs to be more trains and a more regular train schedule. Too much time is being spent waiting for trains to take you from one part of the resort to another. At Bahia Principe Ambar, the train system is extensive and you don't wait anymore than 5-7 mins for a train.21 March 2012
2.5 star ratingSome positive of the hotel was the kids zone. My girlfriend took her daughter there a few times during our stay and I can say she was very well taken care of and she was kept busy doing things she liked. The drinks were also very well done the bartenders knew exactly how to make the drinks. They have daily shows but we were only able to see one and that show was spectacular. They also had a good decor. The amount of time you would have to wait for each train to take you back and forth from the lobby to the beach / beach to the lobby. We were not notified of any activities or events that the hotel had during our stay. Weask felt as if house keeping should have been more careful after finishing cleaning the room our door was left open once during our stay for who knows how long. Some employees were also not up to par they had a very bad attitude when asked for directions. Anonymous 05 August 2017
