4.5 star ratingThe hotel itself was nice, but the staff was amazing! Being in Japan for the first time, I knew I would have some trouble figuring out how to do yhings and where to go and how to get there. I had planned for my son and I to go on the Alpine Route but really wasn't sure how it worked. When I asked the woman at the front desk to help me figure it out, she asked if I could come back later so she could show me a timetable. I was expecting to see a train schedule with various times to get me to shinano omachi but instead, she had planned ALL of the modes of transportation Long the way with a suggested itinerary through the entire route! I can't begin to tell you how helpful that was! She was so very sweet to do that and to seemingly enjoy doing it for us! Given that the planning never stops on a vacation in a new land, it almost brings a tear to my eye to know how gracious this woman was. Unfortunately I didn't catch her name before we left but I was there on Sunday night July 16 and Monday July 17. She was at the front desk both days. Please tell her I love her and her beautiful heart. The rest of the staff was also friendly and helpful. Nothing negative to report. Anonymous 19 July 2017
