The shops, restaurants, bars and nightlife of Schanzenviertel are just a 3-minute walk away, and the Alster Lake and Hamburg city centre can be reached for around 5 minutes by using the nearby public transport. This historic venue houses a stylish restaurant, with adjacent terrace, that offers mouth-watering, classical Swiss, international and regional cuisine. Guests can unwind and enjoy the finest cocktail creations in the cave bar with its unique character and cool atmosphere. If some pampering is needed a massage or a visit to the full service spa may just do it.

4.5 star ratingGute Lage - nur 2 Minuten zur UBahn / SBahn, Zimmer waren sehr schön, Sehr nette Mitarbeiter. Fehlt Ablagemöglichkeiten im Schrank, Frühstück zu teuer für die angebotene Auswahl. Zimmer hätte etwas besser gesaugt sein können. 16 September 2013

5.0 star ratingI can't find fault with the hotel or my experience there. The staff were professional, welcoming and helpful at reception. They handled my enquiries competently in English. If you are at all interested in architecture or just being in a nice place, the hotel is stunning. The bedroom was equally as stunning. Some lovely design features, luxurious, and a view of the telecom tower from the window. The bar did happy hour for cocktails in the early evening and we were also able to use the sauna with gowns provided for no additional charge. Great location, 1 minute walk to the station, loads of cafés, restaurants and bars. The best value hotel I have stayed in.Internet wasn't free but only cost 5 euros for 3 hours access over 24h period. It was free from the business lounge as was printing, which we were allowed to use. Breakfast was extortionately priced and we opted to eat at a cafe down the road for40 euros less.
