Hotel Information

The hotel is situated in a peaceful area of Alvor in a large village-style complex. Located in a region of abundant green areas, this touristic village offers excellent conditions and ease for family vacations. Very close to the Alvor beach, where there is a plethora water sports and the traits of one of the most charming villages of Algarve, rich for its handicraft, restaurants and bars close to Ria. There are public transportation links 60 m from the hotel.

3.5 star ratinggood apartment staff friendlyoutside the terrace was very small and there are a lot of blocks all around noticeable noise from upstairs from other people walking around in hard shoes microwave oven not operational (only oven in flat)due to lack of turntqable-2 treplacements didn't fit Reception was next door at another site No chopping board or cullender,supplied 2 days sfter arrival.24 May 2009

5.0 star ratingExcellant vialue for money, 1 bedroom appartments were very spacious with all the required facilities for self catering. Cleanliness of the appartment again excellant with cleaners in every afternoon to clean floors etc. Staff on site were very friendly and helpfull. Complex is only a short 10 minute walk from the local village/town. With all the above this made our holiday very pleasant.Hainwood14 June 2011

4.5 star ratingThe hotel staff were really friendly and happy to help. The apartments are very spacious and the kitchen is very well equipped. The apartment was really big and the free air con was great. The hotel location is ok, it's a couple if kms to Alvor centre and another km to the beach. A taxi is around 4 Euros. The free shuttle bus during the week us very good. Value for money was excellent as we got a really cheap last minute deal. The only negative was that the bathroom could do with updating. 3.5 star ratingTem boas instalações considerando a qualidade/preço. Bonitos espaços circundantes.A limpeza é precária pelo que as varandas se encontram num estado lastimável. Devem ser mais vigilantes relativamente ao pessoal que realiza esses serviços, pois limitam-se a colocar papel higiénico, fazer a cama e retirar o saco do lixo. O chão apenas foi limpo uma vez e porque nos apanharam em casa. É realmente pena porque o hotel tem boas instalações e espaços fabulosos, devendo por isso ser mais cauteloso neste aspecto.31 July 2011

3.5 star ratingO espaço é muito agradável. Os apartamentos são espaçosos. O pessoal da recepção é simpático e está sempre disponível para ajudar.As duas piscinas deveriam estar em funcionamento: uma para quem quer estar em sossego e outra para quem quer animação. Deve haver uma maior eficácia no diálogo entre governanta e funcionárias, porque em 15 dias nunca me mudaram os lençóis e tive que ser eu a tirar as roupas todas das camas e deixá-las no chão para que fossem mudadas. A mudança dos turcos também foi sempre um drama. As funcionárias mal falam português e não sabiam o que era para fazer. A limpeza deixa muito a desejar, uma vez que aquando do check-in tinha gavetas cheias de arroz, sal e outras coisas das pessoas que tinham estado naquele apartamento antes de mim... não é lá muito higiénico01 September 2011

A relação qualidade-preço é igualmente boa.Gostaria imenso de voltar, mas devido à hora de check-out ser às 10.00 hrs, não voltarei a reservar neste empreendimento. Como todos os hotéis deveria ser às 12.00 hrs, para permitir ás pessoas que se encontram a descansar e de ferias fazerem a sua saída atempadamente, sem a pressão de horário.04 October 2011

Todo a pessoal e muito simpatico e vao mais longe do que o trabalho obriga para asegurar uma estancia muito agradavel. A very beautiful peaceful setting with trees and landscaping. Very spacious apartments. Staff are extremely professional and pleasant and make extra efforts to ensure a comfortable and trouble-free stay. We kept extending our stay and expect to return here again and again, though probably off season as it is probably too busy at peak times.04 February 2012

4.0 star ratingI haven't stayed for long enough to give lots of comments, but the area looked nice, didn't use the facilities, but it is definitely interesting to have swimming pool, restaurant ... so close by. Cleaning: whether cheap or expensive, cleaning should always be perfect. finding hair from the previous visitors on the bathroom floor is not very pleasant. Doors of cupborads in the kitchen and door of bathroom looked very greasy, covered in fingerprints. A thourough clean is recommended. 10 May 2012

3.0 star ratingThe appartment was very basic but spacious, and the exterior was pleasent and with lots of space. It was very quiet (but it was low season...).The beds were not confortable. In the 4 days we were there, there was no clinning at all (neither the garbadge was taken from the appartment). The TV was very very little and old and only with 4 national channels. A Animação também é importante.A Limpeza é um dos aspectos a melhorar no que diz respeito aos tecidos do sofá.O facto de todos os dias irem aos quartos é favorável, contudo, pelo facto de algumas senhoras auxiliares não perceberem bem portugês não facilita. São, no entanto bastante simpáticas. Deveriam apostar na requalificação do parque infantil e zona da piscina que já acusam a degradação dos anos bem como o apartamento em si, sobretudo os sanitários.04 July 2012

1.0 star ratingStaff were very rude, although I explained I have a disability and find it hard to walk,band climb stairs, they gave us a room on the second floor, at the end of the complex, as two women with heavy cases, we arrived after midnight, it was raining and very dark, we asked for help to get to our apartment and the security man refused, it took us 40 minutes to find it. When we arrived, the light outside had been smashed and wasn't working, electric was connected, all wires exposed. Door handle was wobbly and almost falling off. When we got inside there was a horrible smell of sewage and although the living room was clean, the kitchen looked grimy. However this was nothing compared to the bathroom. The smell as I opened the door made me gag, there was no enamel in the bath tub to speak of, except the bits that were flaking off. There was mould growing in the grouting of the tiles and floor. The toilet was all stained and there was a bug in there, when we took cleaners seal off there. You have to pay a surprise €75 when you arrive in case of breakages, and there is a price list of the inventory in a nice frame on rally, even down to costing you €2 euro for a broken ashtray and €400 for a broken mattress. It costs 50 cents to hire a kettle per day as there isn't one, and it you ask reception to call a taxi for you that's 50c too. All I can say is avoid avoid avoid. 3.5 star ratingA relação serviço preço para uma família em tudo incluído é boa.Hotel já com alguns anos, necessita de mais manutenção, empregados poucos para o serviço que tem, a limpeza do espaços envolventes é pouca. Mas no conto geral não foi mau. A piscina tinha poucos chapéus/ sombras, para tantos hospedes. Variedade de comida, muitos fritos.25 June 2013

3.0 star ratingSelf catering apartment was equipped with what you need...all utensils, hob, microwave, toaster, washing machine. Large pool and baby pool. Water nice temperature. Good amount of sun beds. Not allowed to reserve sun beds with towels. Fully stocked shop on site for all necessities. Shuttle bus to and from the beach/centre of Alvor 3 times per day. Hotel only a nice 10-15min stroll to centre and beach. Apartments are all in differently numbered blocks 1-16, spread over a large area. Lower numbers are closest to reception, pool, etc higher numbers the furthest away. Furthest away blocks are around a 10min walk in areas that are not very well lit. Reception area is not very welcoming. Free wi-if only available in reception. Late checkout wasn't an option. Not enough parasols for number of sun beds. Had to be down at the pool around 9am before parasols were all gone.Anonymous 29 July 2015
