The hotel is situated at the foot of the Sierra de la Giganta, beside the sparkling Lake Cortés, a magical place and an oasis of colours, where the purple of the mountains contrasts with the luminous blue of the lake and sky. The old fishing village of Loreto is close by, in Baja California Sur. It is 10 km to the airport and 20 km to the centre of Loreto. The city of La Paz lies around 365 km to the north.The hotel complex comprises a total of 155 rooms and has its own entrance hall with 24-hour reception, currency exchange facilities, lift access and a hotel safe, as well as a café and bars. In addition to this guests are provided with public Internet access, a WLAN access point, conference services, laundry and room services, cycle hire and parking, some in a garage, for those arriving by car.The hotel rooms are all furnished in a modern Mexican style. Due to the position of the resort almost every room in the hotel offers guests a view of the sea. Each comes with an en suite bathroom with hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, an iron and ironing board, a hire safe, a king-size or double bed and either a balcony or a terrace. The air conditioning is individually adjustable.The hotel grounds offer a swimming pool with children's area and a poolside snack bar, as well as a Jacuzzi, sun loungers and parasols. Guests are invited to take advantage of the water sport activities on offer, including kayaking, snorkelling and canoeing, and the facilities for tennis, table tennis and cycle trips. More active hotel guests are able to visit the hotel gym and there is also a massage service to help guests unwind. Sailing boats can be hired at the local beach.It is possible to book bed and breakfast or full board stays. Breakfast is offered to guests every morning.
