4.0 star ratinga nice hotel, staff ok, lack of facilities ie. the spa. It is not allowed to use one of the spa facilities such as the hot tub or jacuzzi, you have to pay 25 euros for a package, which is not stated anywhere.09 November 2008
4.5 star ratingCheck in was fast and professional, our room was on the first floor none smoking, looking out on a side street, which was mentioned during the booking process as a possibility. Good size room with reasonable standard bathroom maintained and cleaned to a high standardThe out door pool was closed for repair which gave the hotel a feeling of emptiness and rather a forlorn feel about it. We only had breakfast at the hotel and sad to say, although the hotel was far from full, the staff stood by when some of the produce on buffet should have been replenished. No hot drinks available in the room.none available in restaurant to 10 am.when we asked waitress my husband and my self She very rude.at separate occasion .She shouted at me. 4.0 star ratingThe hotel is absolutely beautiful and not too busy even though I went at the end of August which would be a peak time for holiday makers. It was mostly Spanish people staying in the resort and mostly couples and friends wanting a relaxing retreat. The bed sheets were changed every two nights but the room cleaned every day. The staff at the reception spoke very good English and were very helpful with ordering us taxi's and information regarding the area. Although this hotel is beautiful it is very remote and its location lets it down slightly. In order to get to the beach it was €20 in a tax because it's not really within walking distance and you have to go via a motorway. From Alicante airport it cost €50 each way and to get into the nearest city it was €20 each way. The nearest shop/supermarket is a twenty minute walk each way which in the heat was uncomfortable. There are a few restaurants outside the hotel but not many and no bars so if you was staying longer than a few days you would need money to get taxi's into the city. I would recommend this hotel but not for anyone that likes to be in the centre of everything as I mention it is isolated. This hotel would be ideal for people wanting a peaceful holiday and doesn't mind being away from everything and doesn't mind paying taxi fares if you wanted to eat out or go to the beach.
