Located at the beachfront and right beside the Tourist Center at Station 2, this hotel is the perfect place for a family vacation in Boracay. Its guests will be within an 8-minute walk from Talipapa (the wet market) and close to a number of attractions and entertainment areas, but the hotel itself can also provide them with all the fun and excitement one may need. Known for its water activities the venue offers its guests diving and snorkelling equipment and recommendations for the best place where to do it. Those who enjoy more land based and less active vacations can stretch on the sun-loungers around the outdoor pool and soak-up the sun while working on that perfect tan. There is also a children's swimming area where the youngest guests may blow the steam off and have some good, safe fun. As the day turns into a night guests can head to the hearty dinner buffet.

1.0 star ratingHotel has no Guest Service at all. They are asking all the guest relaxing in beach front and laying on their beach bed around 4:30pm to leave the area because they need to set-up their buffet dinner. No hot water in the room and for make-up room, the guest needs to inform front office that the guest wants to make-up their room, I asked front office to make-up the room but they did not do it. When i ask them why they did not clean the room, its because that i need to go to front desk and sign in their log sheet so they can clean my room. The food is no good, but its okay because the price is very cheap. I think most of their staff are OJT (On the job trainees) and they dont know what guest service means. I will not recommend La Carmela de Boracay. Very Bad Guest Service.06 December 2013
