3.5 star rating The locaton of this hotel was exellent, right on the beach front, walk through the swimming pool area and through the locked gate which residents have a key for, over the paved area and the beach.... great. I would go back to this hotel. There is a charge to use the sunbeds which i thought unusual for guests staying at the hotel it,s the first time i,ve come across this...maybe it,s because your so close to the beach, i dont know. I thought there was not much choice regarding the food but i have to say it was ok, only sometimes the hot food was only warm, but i have stayed at another hotel in the area.Though some small negatives it would not stop me staying here again.03 October 2008
4.5 star ratingExcellent position in resort, with direct access to the beach. Very clean, comfortable rooms. Quite a few of the loungers around the pool were broken.17 November 2008
2.0 star ratingA room was provided to wash and change in before we left the hotel in the evening. 12.00 noon check out time was good. The food was very poor, in fact we took one look and walked out.[ fish fingers ? ] The tables were not set, you were not shown to a table, you had to collect your own cuttlerey, a very poor standard of customer care. Even though we had booked a half board stay we did not return to the restaraunt we ate out. The staff were very unhelpful, not really interested, The noise was a problem, the room walls must be so thin you could hear next door talking. The sun does not shine on some balconies all day. 27 November 2008

4.5 star ratingHad a very enjoyable stay at this Hotel. It was one of the most friendly Hotels we have stayed in. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was very nice with a lovely balcony overlooking the sea and was also very quiet. We would have no hesitation in returning to this Hotel.None.23 January 2009
4.0 star ratingExtremely good value for money. We knew the hotel was in a great position on the seafront and requested a pool view room. We were not disappointed, with super views of the pool, beach and Benalmadena marina. The room was spotlessly clean and towels were changed every day by the friendly maids. Reception staff were very helpful as were restaurant staff. Generally, facilities were good and well used. Guests were a mixture of Spanish, British, Dutch and large groups of Canadians on tours. A new lift was in the process of being installed and renovation work was being carried out at the front of the hotel but there was no disruption. All in all excellent value for money and we intend to return next year. Our only concern would be the lack of choice of hot meals at dinner. The salad bar always looked very inviting. Breakfast was generally good with a choice of hot or cold food. There was no reason for anyone to starve and the vast majority of guests seemed satisfied and we heard no complaints. 2.5 star ratingBeds linen changed every day Fresh towels every day Room cleaned every day Hospitality of general staff very good although there is a tendancy to have a bias towards Spanish speaking people.Construction work going on. Two days we could not use balcony due to masonary falling balcony. Management of hotel did not advise us of this, and certainly there will be an accident because of their lack of communication. Sunbeds in a sorry state of being broken and unuseable. Maintenance of swimming pool carried out whilst pool was in use and no signs warning residents of this. The lack of tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms we consider to be a negative.18 May 2009
4.0 star ratingHaving previously stayed there, we were well aware of the standards to expect. The hotel is tremendous value for money. All rooms have a sea view but now that refurbishment has taken place, a supplement is payable for a pool view room. If you want to pay it, the views are superb. The staff appear hard working and helpful, the room was very clean and there was entertainment on every night with happy hour 7-8pm. The hotel is in a great position with easy access to Torremolinos and Benalmadena. the hotel is right on the beach. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are already booked for February 2010.The only down side were the evening meals which were disappointing. Having said that, the Spanish customers didn't seem to mind and there were was always something to be had but not much choice. John & Anne - Leythers15 December 2009
5.0 star ratinggreat room as we prefer top floors very clean every day and staff very helpful the dining room was good the breakfast's was very good , we could see the sea on one side and the anndulas the other side great for bird watching and not too noisy at nightour only negatives was the evening meals starter salads were good but the main meals were dissapointing as fish/meat did not match the veg that was served buton the whole okmrs c whelan28 June 2010
3.0 star ratingSecond room was what was expected. Location good. Clean and tidy. Most staff friendly.1st room given was like something from a hostel. It overlooked the plain side street above the reception entrance. It appeared to have a couple of small beds that looked like camp beds and the room was dark, dated and had the barest of furniture. On complaining at reception I was told that for another 90 euros I could upgrade which I did. The second room was what I was expecting. So be aware when booking, the good looking price you see on some sites can be for a much more basic room than what you see in the photos. The food was very poor. We have stayed at 5 other hotels along this part of the Costa Del Sol (3 being Sol hotels) and we have always enjoyed the food or at the very least found surfficient choice to be happy but the choice here was almost the same every other day. Not really Spanish or even English choice, It's hard to explain but let's just say a burger from a fast food outlet was more appertising. As an example instead of the wide range of spanish, german or english sausages that could have been served at breakfast, every day it was just small fankfurter type sausages in warm water. Scrambled egg was either like water or solid like a hard egg custard tart. Fried eggs were served about every 3rd day.Dave.24 March 2013
3.0 star ratingLocalization - near beach, bus, airport. The service and staff were very good. The bathroom was nice and clean room. There was wifi even if it did not work all the time. The breakfast was monotonous, colorless and tasteless. Sunbeds were broken and far too few. Common room could be revised and made ??more enjoyable. As for example, to sit opposite the lifts are not relaxing. TV room felt stuffy. Proposal: place the sofas in the middle of the floor back to back and advertisement / brochure table opposite the lifts. Place an sofa were the tabel was. Renovating the room for safety boxes. We will gladly come back and it would be nice if any of the above will be improved by then. Thank you for our stay and we might stop by this summer. Lars23 April 2013
