This airport hotel is located on the premises of East Midlands Airport. It is suitably situated for guests wishing to explore the sights of interest such as the Peak District, Sherwood Forest or pay a visit to Alton Towers theme park. Built in 1987 and renovated in 2004, this hotel comprises 2 floors and a total of 164 rooms. The hotel's facilities include a lobby with a 24-hour reception, a hotel safe and a non-smoking lounge. The inviting rooms are fitted with an en suite bathroom and are all fully - equipped as standard. The hotel offers its own indoor swimming pool, with gym facilities including the new Vibrate plate. A steam room, sauna, jacuzzi and sun beds are also available. Breakfast is available each morning from the buffet. Lunch may be enjoyed at the bar. At midday and in the evenings, guests may also select dishes from the set menu, or take the à la carte option.

4.0 star ratingThe hotel was exactly what we required in terms of facilities, location and value. We were very satisfied and would choose to use it again under the same circumstances.If I had to be critical I would only comment that some of the building fabric (doors, windows) are starting to show their age but otherwise I thought that the building looked quite modern and well maintained.Geoff05 April 2011
1.5 star ratingIt is at the city centre. The room was small compared to the money we paid. The receptionist was rude. There was a whole problem of not reserving a room even after showing a proper papers (booking confirmation). We wasted our money on below standard hotel. 20 July 2013

5.0 star ratingFirst time we stayed here, needed to get an early flight. Next time would get there earlier to make use of all the facilitys. Great room, nice and quiet, very clean. 4.0 star ratingMy room was a good size, with a comfy double bed and large sized bathroom with power shower. At both check-in and check-out, staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a 3-minute walk to the departure gate at East Midlands Airport -- very handy!Unfortunately, the windows in my room were woefully inadequate for a loud airport hotel. They were single-paned old metal windows, rather than noise insulating modern double-glazed windows. The outcome was that even with earplugs in, I had a very poor nights sleep due to the noise of planes and traffic from outside. Very dissapointing. Richard07 June 2016

3.5 star ratingNice clean, sizeable room. Comfy double bed. Coffee and tea supplied. Plenty of towels in a well proportioned bathroom and soap, shampoo supplied. Shower was strong and hot. Nice seating area in the bar. Food was of average quality. I had a burger, which seemed to arrive suspiciously quickly. The bun wasn't much and the burger lacked heat and any real taste. It was rubbery and cold ,the plates supplied for the hot breakfast were also cold.the reason we booked the jury's inn is because we had been there previously when it was a thistle hotel and the breakfasts were superb.come on guys ,I know your in the middle of a refurbish but if you can't keep the food at an acceptable temperature don't serve it.Anonymous 07 October 2016
