Located in an extensive private habitat reserve, Huon Bush Retreats is central to all the attractions of the Huon Valley, 50 minutes drive south from Hobart. With easy access to 5km of interpreted walking tracks through rainforest, to a hidden waterfall and mountaintop, you will not miss internet or television here. Cabins are comfortably appointed with kitchen, fresh rainwater, twelve volt solar electricity for light and music (no mains electricity), eco-friendly composting toilet, cosy wood heater and a private outdoor bath. Tipees are fully carpeted, have twelve volt solar electricity, heating and share the campground kitchen and amenities. Our privacy and tranquillity is protected by 4km of winding gravel road which is steep in places. You do not need four wheel drive but you do need to be comfortable with narrow country roads.
