1.5 star ratingWhen we arrived at the hotel the public areas were lovely and warm and welcoming and we were allocated room 701. When we opened the door to the room the cold air hit us.We spoke to reception and were told the maintenance man would be arriving within the hour to rectify it.We went out to dinner and when we returned the problem had not been rectified and we asked to change rooms.We were given room 209 which was lovely and warm.When I pulled the bed covers down the sheets were covered with black hairs and the pillow had obviously been slept on.I went back down to reception and was told no other rooms were available and neither were any clean sheets and pillow cases.I asked if I could strip the bed in 701 and use those bedcovers .So I had to go up to 701 strip the bed and then remake the bed in 209 myself.I don't think this is acceptable.08 December 2008
