The hotel is situated in the university campus of Santiago's old town. Santiago de Compostela Railway Station is just 1.5 km away. Nearby places of interest include Santa Susana Park and Pueblo Gallego Museum, which are both a short walk from the property. This guesthouse was recently renovated and now offers a renewed accommodation in all of its 50 rooms. Guests are welcomed in a lobby where they can enjoy the use of a number facilities, such as a TV lounge, an auditorium, and a charming restaurant which serves Spanish dishes. The on-site meeting and banquet facilities are well-equipped for any event and Internet access is also provided. 3.5 star ratingThe rooms were clean and spacious. Mod cons such as tv and/or hard driers and/or shower gel /shampoo were not present but, for the price and courteous service (once hotel found) it is really value for money and you can be in the centre of the city with just a 10 to 15 min walk. Overall a 7 out of 10 for what was on offer. The change of name meant that I asked numerous people for the location (including the receptionist in the next building!!!!) and nobody knew the hotel or the location which meant there was unnecessary travel involved to eventually locate the area. Apparently if I would have mentioned the spiritual centre this would have enabled less hassle in finding the hotel. Perhaps a mention of the old on the paperwork would eliminate this negative point. 15 July 2013
