 Unfortunately we were unable to travel because of very snowy road conditions. The person I spoke to re cancellation was very polite.UNFORTUNATELY BECAUSE WE COULD NOT TRAVEL IT COST ME £25 TO CANCEL!!!! tHIS SEEMS A BIT EXPENSIVE CONSIDERING THE ROOM WAS ONLY £45JR30 November 2010

3.0 star ratingGood value for moneyHorrible smell from shower drain at 2 am in the early hours. It was very bad. We informed the girl on reception the next day, who said we should have told the Porter and he would have moved us to another room. (We were in room 147) Who would want to be moving rooms at 2am in the morning? On a positive note, I asked for a quiet room and it was very quiet!11 April 2011

4.5 star ratingThe refurbishment, following the taking over of this hotel, was evident. The standard is now much higher and the inclusion of a cooked breakfast instead of the continental one was much appreciated. The staff were lovely - as ever - but what was great to hear was how much nicer it is for them to work there under the new ownership. The deal from Hotelopia was remarkably good value for money and we shall definitely be looking out for similar offers in the future. This really fits the bill for our trips to Leeds to see the family. Less disruption for them and great comfort for us.Grandparents05 July 2011
