The hotel is located on Calle 9 and Avenida 9, right in the centre of San Jose and near main attractions of the city like the 'Plaza de la Cultura'.An authentic Spanish mansion in Barrio Amon, the hotel is a famously photographed building in San Jose. Though the city has grown around it, it was originally built as a large hacienda for a family who owned a coffee plantation in the 1920s.
