4.5 star ratingSchöne Hoteleinrichtung und sehr schöne Zimmer und Bad, medizinische Versorgung und Einkaufszentrum (ideal als Unterhaltung während der Regenzeit) in unmittelbarer Nähe, gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis da wir auch ein Superschnäppchen gefunden haben. Tolles Hotel und sichere Gegend!Kleiderbügel sind zu wenig für zwei Personen und Kleiderschrankgrösse eher klein Personal kann wenig englisch, ist aber sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit :) 16 October 2012
5.0 star ratingAttractive new facilities, stylishly decorated with modern furniture. Beautiful public areas and expansive buffet.Some of the elevators had signs indicating what was on each floor, but most elevators did not. Also, the restaurants and lounges did not have signs identifying what they were. The Hard Rock Cafe is not in the Hard Rock Hotel, like you might expect, but across a skybridge and at the opposite end of a mall across the street. There was no information about the hotel or its services in the room, except what was accessible via the television.Esteban15 February 2013

4.5 star ratingVery friendly helpful staff. Lovely spacious room with king sized bed and huge bathroom with bathrobes, slippers and complimentary toiletries. Amazing pool area and brilliant gym. $20 drink voucher included in room price (nice touch), we used ours enjoying the hot tub by the pool in the evening. Covered walkway to very good shopping mall (multicentro), voucher with discounts to use in the mall was given with room key. Great Hard Rock cafe for food and live music there also. Fantastic buffet breakfast included in price of room. Amazing views of Panama City from rooms, pool and gym. Rock music channel on TV with some great music playing all the timeLack of staff on check in desks so long waits if a large group arrives. Very complicated lift system, floors coded and to get to your room you need to scan your card and press floor. Lifts were very slow to arrive so you could wait ages. No hot water, had to call housekeeping who turned on taps under sink! Is this normal policy for 5 star Hotel? Refused entry to stage area in Stage Bar to see live band playing, reception staff were very helpful and accompanied us to talk to the security staff who maintained only people who bought bottles of alcohol were allowed into VIP area in front of stage. Priority was being given to local people who were definitely NOT buying bottles, NOT Hotel guests!!!!! I have taken this matter up with the Hotel as I feel at $146 dollars a night I should have been considered to be a VIP!!!!!LisaG27 May 2013
5.0 star ratingUn gran hotel: muy entretenido, cada rincon y area tiene una reseña musical, musica por todos lados. Fui con mis hijos y cada uno disfrutó al maximo su estadía. Un staff muy cordial. Buena ubicación, rica comida, wifi sin costo everywhere!. Gran detalle en su piscina: al estar nadando bajo del agua, la musica exterior se escucha con gran nitidez haciendo la experincia sin igual. 5.0 star ratingI stayed in the Hard Rock Panama City for 5 days end of October (3 days first and then 2 days later on my return to Panama City). In summary this is one of the best hotels I stayed in, especially considering the price. Being a themed hotel (I'm not that big a fan of Hard Rock Café themed restaurants), I was a bit sceptical at first, but other reviews seemed very good so I gave it a try. I should not have worried. From the moment you walk into reception until you check out, the service is excellent. I do like my music so seeing rock memorabilia everywhere you walk is really good fun too. The rooms are very spacious, modern and clean (the hotel is still pretty new as it wasn't there yet on my last visit to Panama City). I got an upgrade to a suite the second part of my stay, without asking for it, which was a very nice touch. A nice touch as well are the motives in the pillow cases (everything fitting their cool rock theme, but without being tacky). There's free (and fast!) Wi-Fi throughout the hotel and your rooms. Breakfast buffet is very good. You have wide choice including fresh fruits, pasties, cheese & meats, cereals, omelettes cooked to your liking, pancakes and fresh juices (not the concentrated stuff). I also tried most of the restaurants in the hotel while I was there. Soy (Asian fusion) and Tauro (steaks) are pretty different in atmosphere but both were excellent. I also tried Ciao (tapas), but was disappointed in that one (lacks atmosphere & character and limited choice - also not good value). The pool area is also nice and gets the sun most of the day if you have the time to do some sunbathing. Also gets busy in the evenings sometimes with after work crowd drinking cocktails. I did not try the gym but did have a look. Lots of equipment and not busy at all. I also tried the rooftop bar one evening. Very nice views and they had live Cuban band playing. There was a good lively crowd of people dancing. Not totally my music taste but was fun for a while, and I think they do different music genres for different nights. Wide choice of drinks are available at all the bars and as mentioned above, service is excellent (and while I try my best in tourist Spanish, they all speak good English too). Location is great too and it's connected to a large shopping centre as well. So overall, excellent hotel which I'll definitely use again on my next stay in Panama City.Kurt F (London)09 November 2015
