4.0 star ratingThe star attraction is direct acces to one of the best beaches on the Big Island. We had a fantastic time body boarding snorkelling and sunbathing, all less than 5 minutes walk from our room. The room was well appointed, clean and ours had a stunning ocean view (premium oceanview room).We were lucky to have breakfast and parking pre-paid as these essentials were overpriced, as were the other food and services at the resort. It certainly feels like a big (and impersonal) hotel due to its monolithic concrete architecture, however the staff were very warm and friendly. Alex07 September 2015
4.5 star ratingGreat hotel with a wide beach and nice pool. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. Liked the separate shower. Huge bathroom. All in all very comfortable. Breakfasts were excellent. We spent 6 days at the resort and enjoyed every moment.Only one real restaurant. Other food at the bar near the pool and also at a grab n go cafe. Thought there could be more variety in food selection. Apart from breakfast the food was nothing exceptional.Anonymous 11 September 2016
3.0 star ratingThe best beach in Hawaii with quiet sea and white sand.Tennis courts not the hotel facilities as advertised No shuttle to Mauna Hotel in the morning and day time to get to tennis facilities and shops. Umbrellas on the beach are in constant move during the day by beach attendants with using a small tractor, creating noise and smell of exhaust gas. frequent traveller05 August 2017
