Hotel Information

Situated right next to one of the entrances to the excavation site of the Maya settlement in the leisure district of Chichen Itza, this single-storey hotel is an excellent base for archaeology and nature lovers alike. For a fresh and exhilarating start of the day, guests can take a dip in the outdoor swimming pool or have a cup of strong coffee on the sun terrace. Whether they have been exploring the ancient ruins, hiking around the area or just enjoying the local culture, the spacious air-conditioned rooms will prove a welcome place to relax at the end of the day. The cosy on-site restaurant serves a variety of local dishes, so guests can immerse themselves in this part of the local traditions, as well.

4.0 star ratingInsgesamt eine sehr schöne und originelle Hotellanlage mitten im Dschungel. Urige Zimmer mit Klimaanlage. Leckeres Frühstück mit frischen Früchten, Säften und Omelettes.Wie im Dschungel üblich gab es relativ viel Krabbelgetier. Wer empfindlich auf Käfer reagiert, sollte diese Anlage meiden. Leider waren auf einer Bettüberdecke Flecken.Simon03 October 2011
3.0 star ratingGlad we stayed as the hotel is so close to the ruins and is set in beautiful gardens with decent bird watching but something just was not right. The stiff, awkward service in reception and the restaurant did not help and it felt like the place was always trying to up sell. The menu did not help as it excluded tax which was added when the bill arrived. We had lunch, dinner and breakfast and all the food was fairly good which was a bonus. The room is quaint and rustic, comfortable enough though for a nights stay. The hotel arranged a guide for the ruins which cost about £37 for the two of us plus the £9 entrance fee each and it was far better than just wondering about wondering on our own, it did bring it alive. 4.0 star ratingFantastic location but difficult to find if driving. Hotel needs to put signs on the main road. Ideal if you want to get to Chichen Itza before the crowds as only 10 minutes walk to the entrance from the hotel. Rooms a little basic but fine for a short stayDC27 May 2014
