4.0 star ratingThe staff were friendly and efficient, and the hotel was in a quiet street but close to all amenities.Bedrooms and bathrooms need refurbishing/redecorating but were clean. Choice at breakfast limited but acceptable and quality fine. 13 September 2008

2.5 star ratingThe girl at the reception in the evening was doing her job very well. As there was no water running in the hotel on Nov. 30, the staff provided hot water in thermos jars for the breakfast, that was nice. In the morning of Nov. 30, there was not one single drop of water in the bathroom, nor in the entire hotel. No comment on it by the employee who woke me up at 7am and at 7.45am instead of 7.30am according to my request. I had to ask for some mineral water to be able to wash my teeth. My friend, an architect of the Alicante region, told me later that hotels MUST have water reserves in case that they don't get the water delivered to their house any more. This was not the case in this hotel and I wouldn't recommend it any more. The employee at the reception desk apologized, but I didn't get any reduction on the price to pay for the night. I think this is not correct. A friend who stayed in the hotel in another room, Jose Angel, made the same experience. You should provide a solution to this problem. At least the guest who suffered from this situation should get some kind of refund. If I go and tell the media about it, nobody is happy. We are in Europe and not in central Africa. 02 December 2008

2.5 star ratingthe staff were very professional and were extremely helpful but the hotel was in a sorry state and you needed a degree in plumbing to work the shower without flooding the room09 July 2011
5.0 star ratingThis hotel is the worst we ever stayed in.The breakfast is the worst i ever came across, the eggs were so cold we thought they came from Siberia, the bread was days old, the slice meat was digusting, the orange juice wasnot real.Change rooms three times because shower or air-con not working .When i complain to one staff behind desk he seems to get annoyed. The youngest of all your deskstaff was really helpful.I will never recomend this hotel to anyone. This hotel needs refurbishing from top to button and the customers need to be given a proper hot breakfast in the mornings. 30 October 2011
3.0 star ratingReally helpful staffThe room was really dirty, and during our 1 week stay, they never swept the floors. There was piles of dust in the corner. Another irritating thing was how the cleaning lady sprayed the entire room with perfume everytime she'd been there to make the beds. And when I say perfume, I'm not talking about air freshener, but actual perfume for men with a really strong scent, that almost gave you a headache.TravellingViking03 May 2012
3.5 star ratinginexpensive, near city centre some free parking nearby but you have to be lucky to get a place (I was )Could do with renovation27 May 2013
5.0 star ratingFor what you pay it's great value for money. The rooms are very clean, a bit on the small side but there's so much to see and do you only use the room for sleep. The centre is about a 15min walk, the Marina about 20mins and the beach about 25mins. Pleasant walks with lots to see. The Santa Barbara Castle isn't far either and is a must see, the views are brilliant! I went with my mum for a long weekend so this hotel was perfect. Half board, the food was great, large portions and the staff were extremely helpful. If you want to keep it cheap there's also a bus stop about 10min walk away that goes to and from the airport for €2.90 (single ticket). A bit on the outskirts if you're not a fan of walking. The rooms are very basic Soph9316 July 2013
