4.0 star ratingThe Hotel was great. Easy to find and park.It was very noisy in the room we were in. Bus party left at 5.30am and a lot of people in and out. I would request a room away from the front of the hotel when I stay again.27 September 2008
4.5 star ratingGreat service, esp at Breakfast, the coffee machine broke down and the Duty Manager, came round everyone in the restuarant pouring coffee and being utterly charming. Very nice touch.None.23 September 2008
3.0 star ratingIt is close to the place I was visiting. Reasonable price. The hotel had a coach party leave prior to my breakfasting and the choice of breakfast was reduced. Not very much choice of breakfast - a bit basic.13 November 2008

4.5 star ratingThe service and staff were very perfessional, also the rooms and general appearance of the hotel were very clean, the food in the restaurant was very good but just a little pricey.we thought that the hotel would be nearer the town plus the position of it did seem alittle wrong eg the front should of been at the back and the back at the front. 03 March 2009

4.5 star ratingThis hotel is a favourite of mine, it is consistently better than many of Glasgow's more expensive hotels. I've yet to be disappointed with any aspect of staying at Glasgow PondJames08 December 2009

4.5 star ratingI was advised that there was a party on until midnight and they hoped that I wouldn't be disturbed. The noise was kept to a minimum and I wasn't disturbed at all.Lorrie09 November 2010
3.5 star ratingThe room was clean if a little noisy. Room servcie was good and the staff were friendly.the food was poor value for money. Average quality but at a high price. Being close to the hospital, road and the kitchen extractor was noisey. 6 am deliveries were annoying.19 June 2011

4.0 star ratingTaxi rank, buses and train station were nearby. Bar area and reception were very nice.Location wasn't the best16 August 2011
4.5 star ratingStaff were excellent, rooms were nice and to be honest, i was surprised it is only a 3 star!Possibly the location, but that can't be helped.jimjam20 October 2011
3.0 star ratingEasy location When I checked in there was only 1 member of staff on and she was dealing with someone I was waiting nearly 20 mins. The annoying thing was that there was 2 other reception staff in the back office who appeared at the desk and saw I was waiting and just went back into the office. I just thought they could of checked me in as they have both seen I was waiting ! I use this hotel for business, and I couldn't get on the Internet. When I called down to the reception they said that there is maximum people using it and I would need to keep trying . This hotel advertises Internet maybe it should be alot clearer to business clients . As I lost out a lot of time trying to get it to work ! 09 March 2012

4.5 star ratingThe hotel was excellent. We have stayed before and was happy to return.Very disappointed with Hotelopia. We telephoned on the Thursday 23rd May to make sure room was booked and paid for. Member of staff at Hotelopia who could not speak english and told me the room was booked and I had not paid for it and would have to pay on arrival. When I checked my bank statement the amount had left my bank on the 1st May 2013. I tried to explain that I had paid the amount and she became egressive and put the phone down during our conversation. Would not use Hotelopia again.28 May 2013

Staff very friendly & bar still open @ 3am (following Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony.Room very good & same as on hotel pics.Car park man very friendly & helpful! Very handy for Hyndland station. It's true there is traffic noise..but you are in a city! Ear plugs solve that! Overpriced for the Games, like every other Glasgow hotel...but at least it was decent unlike some!Anonymous 26 July 2014
