Located beside world-famous 11 km long Negril beach, the hotel lies within a short distance of the resort centre. A selection of restaurants, shopping and business venues are situated within walking distance. It is approximately 80 km to Montego Bay whilst Black River is around 90 km from the hotel. Montego Bay airport is 88 km away. The establishment comprises a total of 42 rooms. 4.5 star ratingThe staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel was small but cosy and provided a relaxing base for our holiday. After walking the whole stretch of 7 mile beach, we decided that the staff at our hotel looked after the section of the beach in front of the hotel better than most other places including bigger more expensive hotels such as SandalsThe food choice was relatively limited but that was due to the fact that we were travelling during hurricane season so there were few guests and therefore the hotel decided not to do buffets but instead to get the guests to order from a menu each night to keep costs and wastage down. 23 September 2008
2.5 star ratingthe BEDS in the rooms were amazing...OMG! I was shocked...THE BEDS GETS 4 thumbs up, the Spaciousness of the room and the front desk representative "Latoya" and staff in the restaurant. The food was good.the grounds is not well kept, the rooms are bare and dead, the security team needs to look more professional, there shouldn't be an extra charge for rooms on 2nd floor, the smell of ganja(weed) all nite, the locks on the door needs to be changed and be more up to date. The 2 gentleman in the office that seems to spend more time on the computer and their smart phones needs to learn more about CUSTOMER SERVICE. The wait time for dinner should be better and the time definitely needs to be improved with the replenishing the buffet with foods when empty. ALSO the idea of paying to eat from the buffet and being given at least 1 cup of juice should be changed. ALSO the hours where there is no water in the rooms needs to be addressed. The garbage should not be kept in the front of the resort at the parking lot. WE PULLED into the parking lot and was greeted by the stinch of garbage. (YUK!!!!)Fit R04 January 2013
