5.0 star ratingA lovely warm and professional welcome from the front of house receptionist. The entrance was warm, clean and easy to find. We had a problem with the electricity in our room- it was intermittent and so the heating and kettle wouldn't work. We were quickly helped and after a short while we moved rooms. Each room was really good, and I would have been happy to stay in either. Very clean, tidy and good quality. Breakfast was very good - served in a comparatively small area there was a wide selection of food and this was fresh and and hot.Overall the hotel was very good, if I had to find one fault it would be that the air conditioning was on too cold and windy in the breakfast area. There was nowhere to sit out of range of the blast, but this is a small detail and something I always find in air conditioned places as one of life's cold beings!JLW217631 December 2011
4.0 star ratingclean, modern, fairly luxuriousas a single person, prefer single room to twin-bedded. overall, rooms are so modern and well-equipped as to be on the clinical side. 3.5 star ratingquiet, clean, well equippedthe room smelt musty and so did the bed. although the sheets etc were clean, there was a need for some freshening. the smell was quite distinct. the window was left open all day but upon my return, the odour was still there and i can only assume it was coming from the bed linen. a distinct lack of freshness. maybe some better quality washing powder is needed or some fabric conditioner. lin18 November 2012
3.5 star ratingeverything worked out in the endStayed with my wife. We arrived at about 11pm and were told that although our booking was for a double room, they had none left and so it would be a twin - not much you can do at 11pm ! Once in the room, it was like an icebox. We rang and explained, at which point a nice warm double was found for us - great - just a pity we had to go through the bad experience first. gandi7704 December 2012
