4.5 star ratingClean and tidy and staff friendly and helpfulThere is building work ungoing to November and I was woken at 5am by it's start. Only limited TV channels (5 terestrial plus 3 others) plus pay to view.Fossicker17 October 2009
5.0 star ratingI was really very pleasantly surprised by how great this hotel was ... especially for the rate on Hotelopia. The room was brilliantly appointed and there was nothing more I could have asked for. Despite having limited parking on site, the ability to use the multi storey free of charge was a bonus. I have recommended the hotel (and Hotelopia) to my work colleagues as we frequently use B&Bs in the area but with such a great location and amenities, I would go for the Holiday Inn every time. The price for breakfast was a bit steep but then most hotel breakfasts usually are. They do offer you a choice of pillows ... I wish I'd opted for selecting another one as mine was like an after eight mint.Dr Sarah07 January 2010
3.5 star ratinggood value at £50 a night, small gym, nice staff.£13 for breakfast is too much, my shower was neither hot enough and leaked, but at £50 a night its ok.11 February 2010
3.0 star ratingThe first room had such a smell that I had to change Check out was the slowest process ever.03 February 2010
3.5 star ratingReception staff were trying to aspire to the service of a greater star hotel. In reality, it came across as rude and patronising. I did not receive the courtesy that you would commonly expect from all hotels. I suppose as I wasn't wearing a business suit then I was not their preferred clientel. Singlewhitefemale15 April 2010

4.5 star ratinggood location for town centre, easy to reach and spacious hotel, welcoming staff and easy check in.Hotel parking a bit overpriced. Room was clean but ask the cleaner to close the door and use the vacuum cleaner, loads of dust and fluff behind door.Anonymous 17 September 2016
